iM282A-L

iM282A-L

The iM282A-L is a compact and low-cost radio module that operates in the unlicensed 2.4 GHz band and combines a powerful Cortex-M3 controller with the new ultra long range transceiver SX1280 of Semtech Corporation. It has been specifically designed for battery driven applications and is able to achieve without any additional amplifiers a LoS range of more than 12 km. Please refer to the corresponding Application Note.
The WiMOD LR Base Plus firmware provides LoRa®-modem functionalities which allows to implement proprietary and cost sensitive radio networks with typical topologies like peer-to-peer and star configurations. The embedded radio protocol stack offers unacknowledged and acknowledged radio packet exchange with optional encryption and automatic power saving for battery driven applications.

iM880B-L

iM880B-L

The iM880B-L is a compact and low-cost radio module that operates in the unlicensed 868 MHz band and combines a powerful Cortex-M3 controller with the new LoRa® transceiver SX1272 of Semtech Corporation. A sensitivity of up to -138 dBm and a maximum output power of +19 dBm results in a link budget of more than 156 dB. Even when reducing the output power to +14 dBm ranges beyond 15 km are possible in free space. The iM880B-L is pre-certified according the European RED guideline and can be soldered like an SMD component. The iM880B-L passed the Objenious interoperability test, which validates the performance of the iU880B in the Bouygues Telecom LoRaWAN™ network environment. It also passed the Orange™ device interoperability test, which validates the performance of the iM880B-L in the Orange™ public LoRaWAN network environment.

iM881A-M

iM881A-XL

The iM881A-XL is a compact and low-cost radio module that operates in the unlicensed 868 MHz band and combines a powerful Cortex® M0+ controller with the LoRa® transceiver of Semtech Corporation. It has been specifically designed for battery driven devices. It consumes less than 28 mA in transmit with the maximum output power of +13 dBm. Combined with an excellent sensitivity of down to -138 dBm a range of 12 km can be achieved in free space environment. The iM881A-XL is pre-certified according the European RED guideline and can be soldered like an SMD component.

iM980A-L

iM980A-L

The iM980A-L is a compact and low-cost radio module that operates in the unlicensed 915 MHz band and combines a powerful Cortex-M3 controller with the new LoRa® transceiver SX1272 of Semtech Corporation. A sensitivity of down to -137.5 dBm and a maximum output power of +17.5 dBm results in a link budget of more than 155 dB. The iM980A has received Federal Communications Commission (FCC) CFR47 Telecommunications, Part 15 Subpart C modular approval in accordance with Part 15.212 Modular Transmitter Statement about FCC.
The LoRaWAN protocol stack, specified by the LoRa Alliance™, is based on IBM’s LMiC and IMST’s WiMOD-OS. It enables Low Power Wide Area Networks (LPWANs) for Internet-of-Things (IoT) and Machine-to Machine (M2M) applications and supports Direct or Over The Air Activation (OTAA). It comes with the WiMOD LoRaWAN™ HCI interface and allows easy configuration. Please refer to the download section.
