The iU891A-XL is a compact and cost–effective USB stick based on the Long Range Radio Module iM891A-XL that operates in the unlicensed 868 and 915 MHz band.
With an integrated +22 dBm power amplifier and a sensitivity of -149 dBm, a sensational link budget of approx. 170 dB can be reached. This makes the iU891A-XL an ideal solution for numerous applications such as LPWAN and IoT sensors, as well as home-, building- and industrial-automation.
The external antenna provides an outstanding performance even in difficult RF environments and allows ranges of >15 km (LoS).
Prolink LoRaWAN® stack:
LoRaWAN® is a LPWAN protocol designed by the LoRa Alliance® to connect battery operated ‘things’ to the internet in regional, national or global networks.
LoRaWAN® network architecture is deployed in a star-of-stars topology in which gateways relay messages between end-devices and a central network server
The IMST’s ProLink LoRaWAN® firmware can be integrated into end devices to participate in public or private LoRaWAN® networks. In addition, the ProLink LoRaWAN® fw adds a proprietary device to device communication to the standard LoRaWAN® FW.
